Position: Software Support Analyst
Location: Wayne, PA
Description

As our Software Support Analyst, your high-level mission is to provide technical support to resolve end user problems where standard procedures have failed to isolate or correct system or software failures. This position will offer you the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise. You will have the career challenges and opportunities associated with a growing company.

 

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business or related field, plus three to five years of customer support experience in the software industry. Ability to resolve general application problems via the telephone or electronic support and perform basic applications work within areas of focus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong problem solving skillls and attention to detail. SQL Server, Web/Browser (Internet Explorer) and additional skills such as Analysis Tools (Crystal Report, OLAP)

 

Requirements:

Technology requirements include the following:

  • Knowledge in ASP, ASP.NET and multi-tiered web based applications.

  • Experience in Object Oriented Technologies, preferably .NET.

  • Above average knowledge on the inner workings of SQL Server databases.

  • Working knowledge of Crystal Reports.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting software issues.

  • Experience interacting with non-technical customers
