Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Chennai, India
Description

This position will work with business analysis and development teams for implementation of quality initiatives like CMM Level 5 standards.

 

1. Implementation and improvement of Quality Management System

Has a deep understanding and practical exposure to Quality Concepts, CMM Level issues and other related concepts

 

* Responsible for Definition, Implementation and Improvement of Organizational Processes as per ISO 9001 and CMM Level 5 standards

 

 He/she will:

 

-         Define and Implement processes, standards and guidelines with the objective of improving organizational quality levels.

 

-         Be Responsible for all QA efforts for software product families, preparing new products and new versions including international versions.

 

-         Review detailed functional specifications for systems; prepare testing plans and test cases for security, performance and other objectives defined by the project.

 

-         Conduct/participate in code reviews in co-ordination with development teams

 

-         Lead Quality Certification Initiatives such as - PCMM, ISO, CMM & Six Sigma etc

Requirements: This candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in enterprise software systems. Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003, MS SQL 2000, IIS Server, and ASP required. College degree in Information Systems or related field and effective oral and written communication skills.
