Care Enterprise is packed with features
to simplify your business - from referral to discharge. Listed
below are some of the popular features.
Extensive Forms Library: Care
Enterprise includes an extensive collection of proven electronic
forms to facilitate data collection from Referral to Discharge.
Included in the forms library is a complete
bio-psychosocial/assessment, several formats of
treatment/individual plans, medication management forms and
more. These forms incorporate the "best practices" of other
organizations and facilitate rapid implementation of the
software. Please click
here for a
list of frequently used forms.
Electronic Client Chart: Electronic
Client Chart: Our unique electronic client chart provides a
single window to review and access all administrative, clinical
and financial client information. Information is organized
hierarchically to present data collected under each treatment
episode or an entire episode of care.
Security: Care Enterprise provides
three layers of security to ensure information is accessed on a
“need to know” basis. Our unique ‘Security Policy’ feature
automatically assigns rights to an individual’s records at the
time of data entry. There is also a log to monitor access to
client records.
Claims Processing/Accounts Receivable:
An easy to use wizard facilitates submission of claims in HCFA
1500, UB 92, X12 837 and other state specific formats. Once
claims are submitted, users can record receipts, write-offs and
denials through a payer or client ledger. Pre-defined accounts
receivable reports are available for aged receivables by payer
or client.
Scheduler: The Care Scheduler
features a very familiar and easy to use interface for staff to
manage their schedules. Popular scheduling features include the
ability for users to set their individual work timings, keep
track of no shows/cancellations, search and find openings, print
fee tickets/billing forms and check for credentialing and
authorization information at the time of scheduling new
appointments. Click
here for
additional information on the scheduler.
Medical Records Management/Barcodes:
Our medical records module integrates with barcode scanners to
provide a fast and accurate way to Check IN/OUT client charts.
You do not have to wonder where a client chart is any longer!
Integration with Signature
Pad: Care Enterprise integrates with signature pads to
facilitate capture of client signatures for consent forms,
treatment plans and more. Provides can use the “signature
verification” capability to authenticate staff having access to
client data. This provides a more secure access control than
traditional passwords.
Reporting and Analysis:
Reporting and analysis functionality of Care Enterprise is
provided through Crystal Reports – the world’s most popular
report writer. We include over 100 different reports with the
software. Reports that help you analyze client demographics,
staff productivity, scheduling, claims history, unbilled claims,
claims waiting for authorizations, accounts receivables, revenue
statements, receipts history and more.

Technology |

|
|
Care Enterprise is available in either Web
or Client/Server technology. For customers choosing the Web
Technology, the following options are available to purchase the
software:
ASP Model: In the ASP solution,
you are using the software from our data center. While each
customer has a separate database, you are sharing resources with
others customers. You will not have direct access to the
database. The advantage of the ASP solution is that all services
are managed. You pay a annual subscription cost based on the
number of users required. This is a great solution for companies with 1-20
users.
In-House: In this solution you
decide to purchase and manage the necessary software and servers
in-house. You have greater control over the operating
environment and have direct access to the application and
database. If you have the in house resources and have more than
20 users, this would be our recommended option.
Dedicated Hosting: Here you are
assigned a dedicated server in our data center. You are
purchasing the Web Care Software, SQL Server RDBMS and other
necessary software. You can accesses the server through terminal
services and create custom reports using Crystal Reports (to be
purchased separately). CSI consultants will help you with
hardware/bandwidth sizing based on the number of users and level
of use in your organization. You can use the
dedicated server to host other software applications for your
organization. This option is ideal for companies with over 20 users and
interested in outsourcing their infrastructure.

Implementation |

|
|
The goal of
every CSI implementation is to expertly transform our product
into the customer's solution.
CSI follows a proven implementation process
that delivers return on investment quickly and effectively.
Successful implementation is the result of knowledgeable and
dedicated people working together. It entails company-wide
commitment, openness to change, good planning and experienced
guidance.
Following is a guide to our implementation process.
Discovery: The discovery process
should begin even before you start looking for a software
vendor. The goal of the discovery process is to identify your
organizations needs, wishes, resources and timelines.
Identifying a project leader and an implementation committee at
this time also ensures a smooth transition from selection to
implementation.
Project Initiation and Install: CSI convenes kickoff
meetings, install the Care Enterprise, provides product/process
overview and in co-ordination with the implementation committee
creates an implementation plan and schedule.
Application Configuration:
CSI thoroughly orients the implementation committee in how to
use and configure Care Enterprise. Then, in a series of
"configuration workshops," we work closely with the committee to
determine data definitions, workflow procedures, business rules,
accounting integration, and other factors that impact
configuration requirements.
Business Analysis: The
goal of the business analysis process is to review current
business processes, identify process improvements and integrate
processes with Care Enterprise. This is accomplished in
co-ordination with the implementation committee. The CSI Project
Manager works with our development team to address any gaps or
changes initiated by the process. The implementation committee
is kept updated on the progress through periodic project plan
meetings and updates.
Data Migration: Depending upon the quality of historical
data and the desired approach, legacy data is typically
moved from source locations to target locations in Care
Enterprise via exacting migration scripts. CSI ensures that your
data is loaded correctly into the Care Enterprise and reviews
data for conversion accuracy.
Training & Education: CSI believes in a "train the trainer"
philosophy to ensure a smooth knowledge transfer and help
clients be self sufficient in use and maximization of Care
Enterprise. System administration and end user courses are
tailored precisely to the enterprise as well as individual users
within the organization. We believe it's critical to include not
just "keystroke" training (how to perform tasks), but functional
training (the why behind the keystrokes). Illuminating the ways
in which functions dovetail across the enterprise helps users
understand the bigger picture surrounding job performance.
System Roll-Out: CSI creates the production database,
verifies that all necessary client infrastructure is in place,
and ensures that all new users are properly profiled to access
the system.
Production Cut-Over: Care Enterprise goes live, bridging any
legacy systems, if required. A project wind down check list is
used to review the project deliverables promised and the what
was delivered.
