Professional Services

CORE's implementation services cover organizational risk assessment and discovery, workflow analysis, software configuration, data conversion, training and knowledge transfer. Our flexible approach to implementation allows organizations to choose a path that is best suited to meet their organizational and project objectives. Our typical implementation team consists of a project manager, implementation consultant and other subject matter experts as required in the different phases of a project. Our highly qualified implementation team members have a strong understanding of the health and human services industry. In addition, they bring in Six Sigma skills and have certification in Project Management methodologies.

Organizations considering implementing a comprehensive Electronic Health Records solution such as Cx360 are often faced with these questions:

  • Should we implement the solution across the entire organization at once or do we implement one program at a time?
  • Do we want to review our workflow processes and make changes or do we take the vendor offered workflows and best practices?
  • Do we want to move from a decentralized organization to centralized process?
  • Do we want the vendor to train all our staff or do we adopt a train the trainer approach?
  • Do we need a full time project manager?

These are all important questions to consider as you look at implementing a technology solution. As part of the software selection process, our consultants will help you answer these questions and suggest an implementation path that provides the best return on investment for your organization.

The Project Schedule to map the scope of your implementation

The project schedule draws on the extensive experience and best practices developed by CORE Project Managers to help ensure that every step in the process is clearly understood before the implementation begins. It helps define the specific scope of your implementation so it will go smoothly and efficiently according to the Statement of Work.

Questionnaires to collect key information about your business

The questionnaires help our implementation team structure and document a detailed workflows and tasks for your implementation. For example, the information collected helps reduce the implementation workload by streamlining the software configuration process with payers, reimbursements and rules, billing formats etc.

Standardized Configurations

RIM provides a comprehensive set of industry data containing the most repetitive tables (those that contain the same information from customer to customer within an industry), such as programs, services, payers, templates etc which can be imported automatically. Available for each of the key verticals (Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol, Family Services), the data sets are delivered as Microsoft Excel workbooks, so your implementation committee can easily adjust them to reduce implementation time further. Using the industry data files, RIM supports more predictable and stable implementation cycles, helps facilitate easier training, and can help reduce the level of customizations to ease upgrades and improve your overall experience.

Phased Implementation to complete a phase one implementation quickly and then, if needed, further implementation phases can build on this solid foundation to meet your specific needs

Basic Implementation Projects - Implementation of basic system functionality, including front office, scheduling, clinician notes, billing and receivables that help you handle basic business operations.

Medium Implementation Projects - Implementation of more advanced functionality, for example, standardized assessments, treatment plans and other clinical tools.

Full Implementation Projects – Full implementation projects include comprehensive workflow analysis, development of "as is" and "proposed" workflows and implementation of more refined functionality that is highly specific to your organization.
