Security

Cx360 uses a role based security model to ensure users have access only to the forms and fields that they need to have access to. In addition, Cx360 offers record level security that will allow you to define organizational rules to restrict access to individual client records based on program and/or location criteria match between the client and staff person accessing the information.

Audit Trail

The purpose of the audit trail is to allow administrator and other authorized users to be able to monitor changes to client records. The Cx360 audit trail includes the date/time, user name, previous and current value of the field being audited.

Technology

Cx360 is a three tiered ASP.NET application with sub-tiers. Cx360 architecture breaks down into three major areas of functionality:

• The data layer manages the physical storage and retrieval of data
• The business layer maintains business rules and logic
• The presentation layer houses the user interface and related presentation code.

Inside each of our tiers have sub-layers that provide a granular break up of functional areas of our application. Figure 1 outlines Cx360 architecture.

Forms Designer

With Cx360 you can take control of the process for developing intelligent electronic forms to capture data. The Cx360 Forms Designer enables the creation of complex data collection forms based on existing templates or from scratch. You may also customize the forms shipped with the system to modify layout, change field labels, add unlimited user defined fields, remove fields or customize other properties. The easy-to-use graphical interface enables users to quickly design forms, maintain form templates, define a form's business logic, make changes, and preview forms before they are published.

Reports Design

The Reports designer allows non-IT users to design sophisticated reports from scratch or modify any of the pre-existing reports included with Cx360. Cx360 uses SQL Server Reporting services for reporting and includes features to export reports, set e-mail notifications or publish reports to SQL Reporting Services.
